Since 2015 he is a President of International Communication Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), the largest and most influential Public Relations and Public Affairs global community.
Maxim Behar is the founder (in 1994) and CEO of one of the leaders of the Bulgarian PR market: M3 Communications Group, Inc. The company is an exclusive associate of Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Bulgaria. Since January 2012 Behar is also Chairman of Hill+Knowlton Czech Republic.
In March 2013 he was elected Chairman of the Board of World Communications Forum in Davos, Switzerland with 1 year term in the office.
Earlier, in October 2012 Indian Association of Business Communications awarded Mr. Behar as “Communicator of the Decade” and also an independent online poll of the Bulgarian TV channel bTV and Manager Magazine announced hi as “Manager of the Year” for 2012.
Just in 2011 the company has been announce “Eastern European Consultancy of the Year” by the Holmes Report, “Best PR Agency in Europe” by The Stevie Awards and “Agency of the Year” by the Bulgarian PR Society. Throughout the years M3 Communications Group, Inc. received tens of international and local awards and made more than 5000 successful projects for its clients.
He served for two terms as Chairman of the Bulgarian Business leaders Forum and one terms Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies (BAPRA), now a Board member in both communities.
Maxim Behar is Honorary Consul General of Republic of Seychelles to Bulgaria.
